2011-2012 LAN Dates

Better late than never, 2011-2012 LAN dates are in:

  • October 1st, Saturday, Ballroom D
  • November 4th, Friday, Ballroom D
  • January 28th, Saturday, Ballroom A
  • April 14th, Saturday, SUB Rooms 233-235

Slight change in venue this year, but we’ll still be in the SUB. As usual setup begins at 3pm, with the LAN itself at 7pm.

MSU Hivemind is now a Facebook group as well, so join up to get the latest updates.

First LAN of the year is coming up in a week, you tell your friends and we’ll cover campus in posters.

Forum Update

*Attention Hivemind Members.

- The forum has been upgraded from punBB to phpBB3 and as a result users will need to upgrade their avatars.

- There is a thread about a poll whether the forum is working, post in the thread if the user permission/forum seem to be working and post in the thread if you have any comments

about the layout.

*Hivemind Wiki

- We’re in the final stages of configuring a generic MSU Hivemind Wiki page and we’ll inform members when the section goes live.

Shoop Da Woop

A big thanks goes out to everyone for attending the February LAN. I appreciated the dedicated Hiveminder’s that helped setup and tear down for the nights event. We had a few issues that resulted from bad network cables that will be resolved after we initiate a “crimping party”.
