Hope everyone enjoys the winter break. I have some great events planned for next semester so be sure to keep an eye on the forums.

Just a friendly reminder that our second LAN of the year is approaching quickly. The LAN is this Saturday, November 8th at 7pm in SUB Ballroom A.

Just a reminder to all the Hiver’s out there that our second LAN is quickly approaching. The second LAN will be Saturday November 8th at 7pm in SUB Ballroom A. Setup will be at 3pm and we’ll meet in front of SUB Ballroom A. We have some great prizes to give away this year so the LAN should be a great time.

We’ll be playing Team Fortress 2, Call Of Duty 4, Counter-Strike Source, DOTA, Company of Heroes and many more.

If there is a game that isn’t on the list that you want to provide a dedicated server for feel free to post in the Nov 8th dedicated server thread in the forum.

Just informing all members and non-members that we will be having a meeting tonight at 5pm in front of the Bobcat Grill. I plan to discuss the planning for the November LAN as well as a few other events that we might get asked to participate in. I value everyone’s input so please show up!

Thanks to everyone that came to the LAN. We had a great night filled with TF2, CS:S, COD4 and even Starcraft. We had Rockstar and Mountain Dew as well as $300 worth of prizes. I’d like to give a big thanks to our sponsors: Antec, Crucial Memory and AMD/ATI. Hopefully we’ll have some pictures up in a few days.

Keep your eyes open for the next Hivemind meeting where we’ll begin planning for the next LAN.

We’ve temporarily moved the webpage domain from msuhivemind.org to hivemind.montanafragfest.com. Jade Robbins (former Hivemind President 2007-2008) has donated a subdomain and his hosting for our purposes. The current webpage is now Wordpress based and hopefully we’ll be able to migrate the old forum over sometime today.
